The Theory of Low (No?) Expectations

So, I get this invite from a shopping service called Shopittome...  I started to delete it but then I thought 'what the hell' and I accepted their invite to something called Threads.  Is this a new site altogether?  I dunno.  How will this affect my weekly Shopittome emails?  I dunno.  Whatever.  Well, it turns out it allows you to select 'threads'.  Threads are whatever you are in the market for, whether it is a look or a style (i.e bohemian, casual professional) or a specific item (i.e pencil skirts, black boots).  You can set price points for your threads (ie. black boots under $200).

By now I'm at least an hour into this site and I realize I've gone from having absolutely no expectation for this site to being quite intrigued.  In conclusion, after selecting from the various threads offered, I submitted my own - mock turtleneck.  About six showed up and sometime next week, I should be getting THIS ONE, for less than $30 including tax and shipping.  Hmmm...  I think I'm getting the hang of this!

  1. Since then Shopittome has canceled the 'Threads' feature. Although disappointed, the organic site is still very good and one that I highly recommend. Shopittome allows you select your size(s), brands, department stores, and price points and then sends you info based on that. Try it!
